This morning I went to gym after a long time. Since it had been some time, I decided to just walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes. By the half-time mark, my mind started wishing for it to end soon! Not because I was tired but simply because I was bored. In contrast, I have had numerous walks in Victoria Park for over 50 minutes without feeling the need for it to end.

Nothing helps make the treadmill walk pleasant — not music, not podcast, nothing. It’s purely mental grind. Whereas walk in the nature feels rewarding in itself even if I take the same route every time.
